Kenyatta University Green Education Hub at the Dean’s Green Cup
“Raising Climate Change Awareness through Sports”
The Green Education Hub participated in the Kenyatta University Dean’s Green Tournament at the University grounds on 24th February 2025. 
The event was jointly organized by the School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, and the office of the School’s Congressperson, and the Green Education Hub. With a focus on “Raising Climate Change Awareness through Sports,” the tournament created a vibrant space where students, faculty, and eco-enthusiasts gathered to celebrate the link between sports and sustainability. Participants explored the significance of environmental conservation, emphasizing how climate action can effortlessly integrate into everyday campus life Through friendly competitions and thought-provoking discussions.
The Green Education Hub was proud to be part of this inspiring initiative, which place students at the forefront of promoting climate awareness through the power of sports. 
The event brought out the crucial role young people play in building a greener future. Beyond the games, the tournament provided a forum to foster meaningful connections, encouraging students to lead in advocating for green campus initiatives and driving local conservation efforts.
