“Empowering Young Voices for Climate Action”
We are pleased to welcome Pratibha Poonia, a senior research fellow at the Centre for African Studies in the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. Ms. Poonia previously contributed to our Climate-U Network Conference in September 2024 and has returned to Nairobi for her Ph.D. fieldwork, titled “Climate Change Governance: A Case Study of Kenya, 1994–2020.
Her visit underscores the pivotal role of the Hub as a dynamic nexus for knowledge co-creation and student research promotion. We are honored to support her research by connecting her with key experts and providing a platform for in-depth interviews and survey dissemination.
This will foster transnational knowledge exchange and co-create actionable insights for a sustainable future, as well as strengthen academic ties between Kenya and India in addressing the urgent issue of climate governance.
