Kenyatta University Green Education Hub was launched on 11th May 2022. The Green Education Hub is an outcome of a project, Transforming Universities for a Changing Climate (Climate-U) that is funded by UKRI and is implemented in 20 countries in 5 continents. The project was implemented through a participatory action research process that involved diverse stakeholders in each of the participating universities. The PARG were tasked to design and implement appropriate intervention to support universities climate action. The launch was attended by Climate-U researchers, students, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) representatives, government officials and community members and Kenyatta University primary school scouts.
