Prof. Jackline Nyerere

Jackline Nyerere is an Associate Professor of Education, and Lead Green Education Hub at Kenyatta University Kenya. She is also the Secretary Centre for Education and Sustainable Development in Africa (CESDA). Jackline’s work focuses on skilling, and education for sustainable development. She is currently a PI for the projects on strengthening the development and assessment of life skills education in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda; and building climate knowledge ecosystems for policymaking in Kenya and Tanzania. Her other recent studies include integration of transferable skills into basic and TVET levels to enhance school to work transition in Kenya, and the transforming universities for a changing climate (Climate-U).
